I’ve lived in D.C. for 5 years now, but I originally grew up in Maryland. If you know anything about Marylanders, it’s that we love our flag. Clothing, bumper stickers, bags, mugs, if you can make it, we make it with our flag on it (and maybe a crab or Old Bay).

When I moved to D.C. I started trying to collect a few items with local spirit, simple stuff with the flag, cherry blossoms, or some of the local buildings. But I couldn’t find anything I liked. After a few years, I finally decided to design some options myself!
